I know in my last post I was kissing the a** of my natural curly hair- well things change. And as my boyfriend kindly reminded me the other day, I’m a Gemini, and thus have a split personality. He is a charmer, isn’t he?! Anyway, I had a real tough morning, and decided to straighten those bad boys. It revealed another reason why I always leave it curly– I seriously need a hair cut. It’s on the ‘to-do’ list now. Saying that, it’s nice to have a change sometimes, and ‘tame the mane’ with my ghds. Which do you prefer- curly or straight?
What do you reckon of my tee? The nice people at Social Wear made this t-shirt for me. My graphic designer sister, Miss Moco, helped them with some of their designs, and I have to say, I love how it’s turned out. It is a picture of me and my fam in California a few months ago. Cute, huh? Hope everyone is having a swell week so far.

This is such a sweet and charming look. Yes, curly or straight, you look adorable. I like that cute hat. This outfit has a nice mix of color and pattern. Great layering too.

1. Cool t-shirt.
2. Really love the outfit. Beret and plaid? Mad skillz. I love it.
3. Your hair looks good straight! It also looks good curly. How long does it take to straighten?
Naw, I think your tee is very adorable hun. Its always such a kcik when something you (or in this case your sister) has collaborated on gets produced and looks amazing in the process. ^_^

love your hat and plaid shirt 🙂
Nooo, don’t cut your hair, it’s too pretty! Curly hair actually looks prettier when it’s long. Two years ago I asked for a split-end trim, but instead the person cutting my hair chopped off a good six inches. I was furious at first because I wanted to grow my hair very long and now I had a bob, but everyone loved it, and I began to love it too. It was a very retro cut, and I blow-dried it, adding volume to the roots, then I flipped the ends out and up with a straightening iron. The problem, however, was that my hair being wavy and VERY prone to frizz, I had to re-style my hair every single morning, otherwise I’d look like a redheaded hippie man because I’m quite tall. Okay, let’s say a redheaded hippie man who enjoys wearing vintage skirts, lace, flower patterns and stilettos. I didn’t mind the time it took to style it, but having no alternative than using heat was problematic, because it dried my hair even more. So I let it grow out again, and now I just let it be wavy, use anti-frizz products, and only blow-dry/straighten once in a while.
Wow, that was a long comment. It should have rather been a blogpost. Here’s to an idea, well!
