About Fashion’s A Stranger.

I’m Amy- a 22 year old, easily pleased, inquisitive girl, from the UK. I studied English Language and Literature at Newcastle University and I’m a northern girl through and through. I totally treasure football, literature, music and fashion. I want to travel the world three times over. As a part of this ambition I lived in South Korea for a year teaching English. I have also spent extensive periods of time in South Africa, the USA and Europe. I get itchy feet easily and now I’m cooking up plans for the next big adventure.

After spending the summer of 2009 interning for the writing team at ModCloth.com, in Pittsburgh, PA, two of my passions collided, and I knew that to be successful in life, you have to do something you really love.  My blog is an ode to fashion, and the title inspired by Flight of the Conchords. I hope you enjoy it.
